Bobette Bryan's Poetry

I Seek You

Every night,
I seek you
ageless sky;
I seek you
and your
silvery moonlight;
I seek you
and your
drowsy stars,
and all the
sweet dreams
wished upon them
through the
voluminous pages
of time.
And sometimes,
I can almost
hear you call
back to me:
"Poet, leave me alone!"
