Fiction News
2004 was a tough
year--one of the worst of my life, but I'm glad to
announce that I worked hard on my novels, and I'm about
to send my historical romance novel, Painter of Dreams,
to book publishers. I'm currently editing another romance
novel called Prisoners of Yesterday. Both novels are
close to my heart, and I'm excited at the thought of
sharing them with the world. And I'm more optimistic than I've
been in a long time, because I've made tremendous progress
toward reclaiming some dreams of my own, and I have faith that
God is there to give me direction.
In the fall, I edited a supernatural horror novel that I
wrote years ago and put aside. It's only in the second draft
stage right now. Hopefully, it too will be polished and in the
mail to Leisure Books. It was a difficult novel to write,
because it thoroughly scared me, and it was so dark that it
called upon the area of my deepest despair; needless to say, I was glad to
move on to the romance novels.
I also have some other novels in the works, including a
couple of suspense novels. My only complaint--there just
aren't enough hours in the day for a prolific writer like me,
especially one who's trying to launch a web business.
I'll update this page when I have news to share and will post a sample of my novels
in the near future. So drop by again.
