Bobette Bryan's Poetry
Divorce
We were never married,
though it seems like it at times;
We were never even lovers.
And yet now we're going
through a divorce,
trying to hurt each other
and fighting over the children.
Very little in my life
has hurt me more
or caused such
a storm in my heart.
